The gibson hotel Working In Partnership With Special Olympics Ireland

This year, the gibson hotel is proud to join Special Olympics Ireland as hospitality sponsor. The sponsorship will include hosting key events for the organisation in the lead up to the much anticipated 2018 Special Olympics Ireland Games.

The Special Olympics provides athletes with more than just physical benefits, it changes lives, and gives so many people the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and build their skills and friendships in the community.

General manager at the gibson hotel, Garret Marrinan, said: ‘The values of Special Olympics Ireland are close to our heart here at the gibson hotel – hard work, along with fun, friendship and the feeling of team spirit and belonging. We are honoured to be the hospitality sponsor for Special Olympics Ireland and we look forward to welcoming the athletes, patrons, directors, stakeholders and all involved in the organisation over the coming months.’

Matt English, CEO of Special Olympics Ireland, added: “ We are delighted and grateful for the support of the gibson hotel in what is a busy and extremely important year for Special Olympics Ireland. Not only will the Ireland Games return to Dublin for the first time in 16 years but we will also celebrate our 40th Anniversary. Our athletes are ready to compete and can’t wait to represent their region on the national stage in Dublin”
