The Trident Hotel Unveils Delicious New Menu!

The newly refurbished Trident Hotel, in the heart of Kinsale has launched a new menu celebrating produce available from Cork farms, local fishermen and fine-food producers. The Trident has long been the hotel of choice for visitors to Kinsale, but has seen increasing numbers of local residents enjoying its restaurant and bar for special events, private dining and family occasions.

The new menus, available at lunch times and evenings was unveiled by Chefs Shirley Forde and Frank O’Reilly.

With lots of wonderful new dishes to choose from, it’s the perfect option if you’re looking for a satisfying lunch or evening meal while admiring great views overlooking Kinsale Harbour. Long standing favourites are still on the menu, including the John Barrett’s Irish Sirloin Steak and Trident’s famous fish & chips in Blacks of Kinsale beer batter. These popular dishes have been joined by new options including sharing plate of West Cork Charcuterie board and Stir Fried Fillet of Monkfish & Mussels in a creamy curry sauce.

Head Chef Shirley Forde comments: “We are so fortunate to have such fabulous Cork produce right on the doorstep, and it is a pleasure to work with local supplies and producers. Our new menu reflects the season, with many more options available on the daily specials board. We hope it will be well received by local residents who are always very welcome, whether its for a three – course candle-lit dinner or just a casual bite to eat”
