The Marker Hotel Celebrates It's 5th Birthday
The five-star Marker Hotel celebrates its fifth birthday this week. Since opening its doors in 2013 the hotel has become an iconic landmark with its checkerboard exterior in the heart of Dublin’s bustling Grand Canal Dock.
Operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts and part of the coveted Leading Hotels of the World, The Marker Hotel has in excess of €21.5M* turnover and has seen a revenue increase of 60%. Over the last five years The Marker has invested €2.5Mthroughout the hotel and welcomed just under 400,000 guests, served 730,000 covers and 40,000 cocktails! Its famous Rooftop Bar & Terrace welcomes over 15,000 people a year.
The Marker Hotel’s Spa & Wellness area welcomes 4,445 people annually - many of whom are corporates working in the area. Looking to the future the hotel is laying down the marker for the next five years with planning permission for an additional floor for bedrooms and a newly-designed rooftop space allowing for more dining and bar options.

The hotel was listed in the top 22 Great Places to Work 2018, for medium sized businesses in Ireland for the second successive year. The Marker also recently launched its wedding offering ‘Love at The Marker’ with a series of packages for small and large weddings.
