Rosleague Manor Celebrates 50 Years in Business
Ireland’s Blue Book is delighted to announce that Rosleague Manor, Co Galway celebrates 50 years in Business this year.
Rosleague Manor, a beautifully situated Georgian Manor House, was purchased in 1968 by Isobel Foyle. Together with her children Anne and Patrick, Isobel lovingly converted the Manor into a first-class hotel, expanding the original 6-bedroom house to include 20 bedrooms, a dining wing and a Victorian style conservatory.
The old-world charm of the Manor House attracted guests from around the world, and Rosleague soon became one of the most recommended hotels in Connemara, known for its heavenly location, exceptional service and delicious locally sourced food. Unique in its layout and design, Rosleague was lovingly appointed, with each bedroom featuring original antique furnishings and accoutrements – many with their own story to tell.
Rosleague is now owned and operated by Edmund and Mark Foyle, who are involved with everything that happens at the hotel. Mark is the third generation of the family to manage the hotel, ‘We are very proud of what we have achieved in the past 50 years. We would like to thank our team for the welcome and hospitality that they extend to each and every guest. It makes Rosleague Manor what it is. Here’s to another 50 years!’
