Brendan Comerford Is Appointed General Manager At 5-star Castlemartyr Resort, East Cork
Castlemartyr Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Brendan Comerford as Resort General Manager.
Originally from Cork City, Brendan trained with Fitzpatrick’s Hotels beginning his career in 1997. Brendan brings 20 years’ experience with him to Castlemartyr Resort joining the Resort following over 3 years as General Manager at Fota Island Resort in Cork. Prior to his time in Fota Island Resort, Brendan previously held the positions of General Manager and Area Manager for Charleville Park Hotel and Oriel House Hotel where he was for over 8 years. Prior to those positions Brendan held the roles of Deputy General Manager at Maryborough Hotel & Spa in Cork and the Clarion Hotel in Limerick.
Having spent his career to date in a number of influential roles in the hospitality industry across Munster. Brendan’s invaluable experience and expertise in hotels brings an exciting new phase to the 5–star Resort in East Cork.
When asked about his new role, Brendan shared ‘I am delighted to be joining the fantastic team at Castlemartyr Resort. I’m passionate about taking on the role of General Manager at the Resort and I look forward to embracing the challenges and responsibilities that the role will bring.”
Married with three young children, in his spare time, Brendan is a keen runner and cyclist and has competed in a number of events in recent years including the Cork City Marathon and the Ring of Kerry Cycle.
