Indulge In The ‘Twelve Treats of Christmas’ Afternoon Tea at Dylan


Indulge in a sumptuous experience this festive season in the five star surroundings of the Dylan Hotel and celebrate the launch of the new Twelve Treats of Christmas Afternoon Tea. Bring loved ones together to savor the twelve tempting treats and awaken your taste buds from their yuletide slumber. This luxurious menu, created by Head Chef Mark Bodie, will ensure the Christmas season begins in style with a festive feast for the senses and runs for a limited period only, from November 23rd to January 7th.

Sample a lavish array of carefully crafted sweet and savoury delicacies inspired by the Christmas season, starting with slow roasted, Irish turkey breast sandwiches, perfectly accompanied by mouth-watering Ballymaloe cranberry relish for a Christmas twist, or Irish smoked salmon on soda bread with crème fresh and pomegranate. Complete your savoury spread with duck liver parfait on homemade brioche and a Dylan classic – ciabatta with free-range egg mayonnaise and baby gem lettuce.

Next, move on to warm, freshly baked raisin and cinnamon scones which will satisfy your sweet tooth. The fluffy fruit scones are served with strawberry jam and clotted cream, while the cinnamon are enjoyed best with lemon preserve and orange marmalade for an afternoon to remember.

Next up on this mouth-watering menu is a selection of sweet treats such as the Dylan homemade Christmas pudding, served with confit ginger for a festive feel and drizzled with Teeling Whiskey butter cream for a merry touch. The Dylan’s mini Mince Pie Lollipop is a must-try this December; made with luxurious Cocoa Barry these cute pops will leave you wanting more.

Next on the list is the delicious Paté á Choux – a blend of exquisite white chocolate & hazelnut ganache layered with pistachio crumble for the ultimate indulgent afternoon, followed by a decadent Genoise Sponge, made with Chai & Coffee Mousse. Tantalise your taste buds further this Christmas with the single origin Madagascan dark chocolate truffles, handmade and dusted with L’Opéra cocoa powder.

To complete your Twelve Treats of Christmas, relax and unwind while sipping on a selection of organic teas and infusion coffees, or cosy up at the most magical time of the year with a quality hot chocolate.
