Harvey’s Point Is No.1 Four Star Hotel
Hotel metasearch specialist trivago has named Harvey’s Point as the ‘No 1 Four Star Hotel in Ireland’ for the second successive year. The trivago Awards, announced in London, placed Harvey’s Point at the top of Irish four star hotels. The award follows the recent announcement by the AA that Harvey’s Point has been elevated to four red star status- one of the few hotels in Ireland to enjoy this distinction.

Welcoming this latest accolade, hotelier Deirdre McGlone said: ‘Following almost thirty years of welcoming guests to Harvey’s Point, this award is a tribute to our entire team, each of whom plays their part in making Harvey’s Point such a special place to visit. It is our collective goal to deliver the highest possible standards of world-class hotel-keeping, blended with authentic Irish hospitality. Being recognised by trivago encourages us to raise the bar even higher, and to look for even more ways to delight our discerning guests’.
The data for the awards was taken from the trivago Rating Index (tRI), which aggregates over 175 million hotel reviews globally. An algorithm is used to produce a score for each property, which is updated daily to render clear, transparent, and unbiased results.
