Speaking about the latest store opening, co-founder Anthony Murphy said, “We are delighted to be opening a new outlet in Swords Pavilions. It’s a great shopping centre so we are in great company! We’ll be offering all of our usual treats and will also be catering for children’s birthday parties which is a fun addition to this store. We have 16 stores across the country now, employing 250 people. We are also opening two stores in Cork in the coming months as well as one each in Limerick and Kilkenny. It’s amazing to see the growth of the business over the past few years. I think a lot of it is to do with the optimism of the Irish, we’ll eat gelato all year round, we don’t let the weather bother us!”

Whether you’re a traditionalist or a risk taker, Gino’s has something for you with an extensive range of traditional Italian gelato, classic crepes and waffles. Favourites include the multi-award winning pistachio gelato, Kinda Gino Bueno and Gino’s Chocolate Oreo Crêpe.

In a recent survey conducted by Gino’s Gelato on the preferences of the Northside f Dublin versus Southside, it was revealed that the Northside favourite is a Kinda Gino Bueno while the Southside winner was the Gino Rocher. It will be interesting to see if the customers at Swords Pavilions agree!
