Zambrero Adds Spice To Dublin’s Dining Scene With TWO New Store Openings


Zambrero, a healthy quick-service restaurant chain and humanitarian enterprise, has today announced the opening of TWO new Dublin-based locations. Spearheaded by former Leinster rugby pro, Darragh Fanning, the Australian chain, which specialises in fresh, healthy Mexican food, today opens the doors of its 4th Irish restaurant and first franchise, located at Dublin’s Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford. Zambrero will also add some fire to mealtimes on the northside of the city, when it opens Zambrero Parnell Street mid-November.

To celebrate today’s franchise opening, the Mexican food specialists are offering the first 100 customers to its Beacon South Quarter branch free burritos. Following this, 2 for 1 offers will be available right through to 8pm.

Commenting at the launch of the South Dublin-based restaurant, Darragh Fanning, General Manager, Zambrero Ireland, said: “I first came across Zambrero while playing rugby in Australia and was instantly intrigued by the unique values and fresh outlook of the business. Two years later, I’m pleased to say this season marks an exciting time for Zambrero in Ireland. The opening of our 4th and 5th stores in the heart of the capital is testament to the huge demand for our offering and the uniqueness it brings to Ireland’s food scene. I am excited for what the next 12 months has in store and look forward to customers experiencing our food and brand-new coffee offering.”

Zambrero is wholly focused on the freshness and nutritional value of the food it serves across its network of over 200 quick-service restaurants. Using only the finest ingredients, with no added preservatives, the chain offers classic Mexican favourites, as well as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options. Menu choices include slow-cooked meats marinated with spices and natural herbs; the freshest of accompaniments, from crisp cos lettuce to fiery jalapenos; six speciality sauces exclusive to Zambrero; and a range of tasty sides. Zambrero also features black rice in its menus; a low-calorie, gluten-free grain which is a source of dietary fibre, disease-fighting antioxidants and plant-based protein.

Zambrero Beacon South Quarter is operated by franchisees Cameron and Marina Matthews. Coco Mexico arrives in Ireland

What’s more, to coincide with the opening of its Beacon South Quarter franchise, Zambrero is exclusively launching brand-new Mexican barista and chocolatier offering, Coco Mexico, to Ireland’s coffee lovers. From today, Beacon locals can kick-start their morning by sipping on delicately roasted coffee or satisfy their sweet tooth with an enticing chocolatey drink.

Whilst Zambrero specialises in fresh, healthy, flavoursome meals guaranteed to leave customers truly fulfilled, it is also Mexican with a mission.
