Family Run Kay’s Kitchen,Blanchardstown, Listed In Retail Excellence Ireland’s Top30 Stores
The team at Kay’s Kitchen is delighted to announce the listing of its Blanchardstown Shopping Centre restaurant in Retail Excellence’s Top30 Stores 2018.Retail Excellence, Ireland's largest retail industry representative organisation, considered applications from retailers from around the country in every sector within the Irish Retail Industry. The organisation promotes best practice and encourages the highest standards in the Irish Retail Industry.
Kay's Kitchen's two level store has now been listed amongst Ireland's leading retail stores and is the only store in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre to have made the list for 2018. The judging panel considered store design and display, the customer's first impression, communication, branding, retail theatre, the products on offer, the level of customer personalisation, the store's role in the community, and clever use of technology.
Managing Director, Steven Glover, stated, “Since the very first day we opened our doors to the public, the customer has always been our number one priority. Through the continuous training of our team, the constant development and improvement of our food and beverage offering and the consistent re-investment into our stores – we are always aiming to provide the customer with an unrivalled casual dining experience. “To be recognised by the industry’s leading body as a Top 30 retail outlet is something that we are both honoured by and proud of. It’s a great recognition of the hard work put in by the whole team".
David Fitzsimons, Chief Executive of Retail Excellence commented, “This process started some time ago when a record number of retailers submitted entries to our Store of the Year competition. The competition is intense and the quality of the applications received made it all the more difficult to select the Top30. “As Irish retail competes with external factors like Brexit and sterling devaluation our members and their staff have stood up to the plate and are proving their resilience yet again. The trojan work done by them in enhancing customer service and experience made our task of whittling the numbers down to 30 all the more difficult”.
