The Bird Is Back …. On South William Street And Skinflint Moves To Dame Street

Crackbird hatches at 34/35 South William Street TODAY Wednesday 20th September, as former resident Bear goes into hibernation awaiting a new premises. While Skinflint has moved to Crackbird’s former perch on Dame Street. Crackbird South William will feature all the favourites including Buttermilk Chicken and Soy Garlic Chicken, half or full, Wings by the Dozen, Crunches and Grilled Thighs with all the usual great pecks, salads, sides and sauces. Focused on lunch, dinner and late night for now, take out and breakfast offers will follow. Bear’s hugely popular lunch offer of minute steak and chips will be back from next week.

‘This is Crackbird with added craic’, said Joe Macken, proud papa of Jo’burger, Skinflint, Crackbird and more to follow. ‘Expect tunes, pitchers, fizz, cocktails and more. The location is choice, with a front bar and terrace, so we’re going to tweak the menu and vibe to suit.”

Crackbird South William is open from noon daily. Closes 11pm Thursday to Saturday, 10pm Monday to Wednesday, 9pm Sunday.

Skinflint, home of great grilled pizzas, salads and tasty things, has outgrown its cosy Crane Lane hangout, and now takes up residence in the former Crackbird at 60 Dame Street.

“This makes perfect sense”, said Joe Macken. “Skinflint’s fabulous pizzas deserve a high-profile location and Dame Street delivers that. It’s exciting times all round for the Jo’Burger group.”

Skinflint, 60 Dame Street is open from noon daily. Closes 10.30pm Friday & Saturday, 10pm Tuesday to Thursday, 9pm Sunday & Monday.
