Bringing More Experiences To Visitors At The Click of a Button!
Galway and Mayo hoteliers and activity suppliers gathered at two recent Fáilte Ireland workshops to find out how they can collaborate to gain greater access to international distribution channels for their products and experiences. The workshops were delivered by Bókun, a platform that allows tourism activity suppliers access international resellers as well as local sales partners, at the Westwood House Hotel in Galway on Wednesday, 13th September 2017 and the Westport Town Hall on Thursday 14th September.
Bókun provides a new and innovative online market place that allows activity providers to connect multiple distribution partners to resell and package services such local tours, attractions, and activities to international visitors. This functionality also supports local accommodation providers to deepen their visitor’s experience through reselling local experiences while encouraging them to stay longer and spend more within the local community.

The tourism and activities sector has an estimated global value of €210 billion annually. Current suppliers on Bókun have seen an increase of 174% in total sales from 2015- 2017. International distribution partners for Bókun suppliers include GTA and Expedia.
