Sheen Falls Lodge Claims Two Top Accolades In Travel + Leisure World's’ Best Awards 2017

Sheen Falls Lodge is delighted to announce it has been named the No. 3 Top Resort Hotel in UK & Ireland by Travel + Leisure readers in its 2017 World’s Best Awards and No. 11 in Travel + Leisure’s Top Resort Hotels in Europe. This year’s awards mark a particularly strong year for Ireland, home to 4 of the 5 properties listed in the Top Resort Hotels in UK & Ireland category.

Sheen Falls Lodge, the 5 star country house hotel is located in the heart of the Kerry countryside, offers a serene and luxurious getaway on the outskirts of Kenmare. This July marks the conclusion of a 2 year renovation project with the completion of its new luxury Oscars Suites – 2 spacious suites overlooking the Sheen Waterfall and complete with private terrace. Over the past 2 years each of the hotel’s 66 bedrooms, its restaurant and public areas have been renovated and refurbished. Each room in the property is carefully positioned so that guests may delight in their majestic natural surroundings, with all rooms overlooking either the cascading Sheen Waterfall or the sweeping Kenmare Bay.
